This week it is time for a dessert that features one of my favourite – and always winning – duet of smooth chocolate and delicate raspberries. For other delightful varieties of this marvellous combination of taste and texture, check out Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Tart, Chocolate Raspberry Charlotte or Chocolate Raspberry Roulade recipes here in my blog.
Probably my final blog update this year as Xmas travels will start in just a few days, and I won’t be back at my kitchen until mid-January. So I decided to make a special entry this week with a perfectly-balanced dessert that combines sweetness of white chocolate with sourness of mixed berries, making this lighter variation of a traditional moist mud cake simply irresistible. A perfect cake to celebrate the holiday season. Enjoy – and Happy holidays!
Another long-term blog break, but I’m back with something extremely special and absolutely superb. These Cardamom Orange Chocolate Mousse Cakes turned out to be a great success with my recent visitors. Which is not surprising given how well silky sweetness of chocolate mousse marries with zestiness of oranges and the extra mild twist that cardamom adds. Enjoy!
Back at my kitchen that I so dearly missed over the past 6 weeks. Summer is in full swing now, which can only mean more berry-based treats. Chocolate + raspberries is a tastebuds-winning classic, and this week it is Chocolate Raspberry Roulade to indulge and enjoy.
Chocolate lovers, this one is for you. Enjoy an unbeatable upgrade of all-time favourite dessert – a zesty orange twist to a silky-smooth rich chocolate mousse.
Finally the holidays are over, travels are on hold for the next few weeks and I’m back at my kitchen! This week introducing a revision of an all-time favourite – chocolate mousse. Silky texture of baked chocolate mousse cakes is beautifully balanced with a salty twist of caramel sauce. In one word – irresistible.
It’s been a while (a few weeks!) since last cheesecake, so now is the time to change this unfortunate state of events. This time let’s go for a rich and boozy cheesecake ‘for grown ups’.
I used to go crazy for fudge, but these days it has to be something more deliciously-sophisticated. This recipe presents a 3-layer delight (in every bite), with a cheesecake-inspired vanilla layer in the middle.
This classic dessert is topped with a cloud of raspberry custard that contrasts beautifully with the rich dark chocolate layer.
I have to confess – I cheated a little. I first published this recipe earlier in the year, but not in a step-by-step format. I finally got around to revisit it, just in time for the raspberry season.
Finally I made my way to the kitchen to re-visit this long-awaited chocolate-berry recipe. A perfect alliance of sweet chocolate silkiness and tender cherry sourness – just in time for this year’s cherry season.
